As a web and graphic design business, we were approached by the Centre for Humanities Research (CHR) at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) to help establish their brand and website. The mission statement of the CHR is to promote the study of humanities in a rapidly shifting social context of a post-apartheid society.
Our challenge was to create a website and brand that reflected the CHR’s commitment to inter-institutional collaboration, partnership, and fostering public engagement.
Our team worked closely with the CHR to understand their vision and values. We created a website that showcases their programs, events, and initiatives. We also designed a brand that reflects the CHR’s commitment to creativity, diversity, and critical thinking. The website is easy to navigate and user-friendly, ensuring that visitors can easily find the information they need. We also created social media pages for the CHR, enabling them to engage with a wider audience.
In conclusion, our work with the CHR was focused on establishing a brand and website that reflected their mission statement. We believe that our work has helped the CHR to promote the study of humanities in a post-apartheid society and to foster critical citizenry.
